(Portable Appliance Testing) We provide a professional, reliable & affordable PAT Testing service to all landlords and businesses across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance. In Scotland, PAT testing is legally required for landlords to guarantee the safety of electrical appliances.
For landlords:
Mandatory requirement: Landlords must ensure that portable appliances are safe for tenants. This is a requirement under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006. Testing must be carried out before a property is let for the first time and then at least every five years to maintain appliance safety.
For businesses:
No specific law, but a legal requirement via other regulations: While there isn't a single law mandating annual PAT testing for all businesses, the overarching duty of care to employees and customers means you must ensure electrical equipment is safe. Regular appliance maintenance is essential, and your insurance provider will likely require you to conduct PAT testing to keep your liability cover valid.

We now offer thorough maintenance cleaning for:
